About Us

What we do

Growing Forward supports people in Nottingham to improve their mental and physical wellbeing through gardening activities in small groups and one-to-one sessions. We are based in a dedicated garden space at Windmill Community Gardens in Bobbers Mill.

Our time in the garden aims to help with anxiety, depression and loneliness. It is designed for people who feel overwhelmed by large groups and find it hard to meet new people.

In the Growing Forward group sessions we grow food and flowers, enjoy nature, learn, share and relax. The one to one sessions include counselling or talking therapy.
